During this time the Beatles made an incredible number of visits to various BBC studios to record some of their most famous early tracks. These tracks have never been released before, and include numbers such as The Hippy Hippy Shake and Lucille, as well as a number of cover songs. This new collection is entitled ‘On Air - Live At The BBC Volume 2’ and will be released on 11 November.
It is almost 20 years since the last release of live BBC recordings from the Beatles were released. The last time this happened was back in 1994 with ‘Live at the BBC’.
