Iron Maiden on the road with massive tour

Iron Maiden just don’t know when to stop and their most recent album, The Final Frontier, has reached number one in the album charts worldwide and is the basis for their current sell-out tour. Breaking box office records across Europe, they have just announced an extra show at the O2 arena to cope with demand, and tickets are still available.

The Maiden’s sound is as powerful as ever and is instantly recognizable, as is their graphic style which has always been so important to the whole band. Iron Maiden are the band that many people grew up listening to but still appeal to rockers both old and young.

Formed in 1975 in Leyton, Iron Maiden were one of the iconic London groups who shot to fame in the early eighties. Even people who would not claim to be Heavy Metal fans can name at least a few of Iron Maiden’s albums, whether it is Number of the Beast in 1982, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son in 1988 or their latest.

Like many bands who have been around for over thirty years, there have been some line-up changes, but apart from the odd glitch Iron Maiden have kept their sound very near to their roots in the early eighties. Their mascot ‘Eddie the Head’ has certainly been with them a long time – no one who has attended one of their amazing two thousand plus live shows to date could have failed to miss him and he appears on almost all of their artwork.

In our store we have a couple of fantastic Iron Maiden t-shirts but that’s not all. We have loads of music t-shirts from other classic rock bands such as Black Sabbath and AC/DC. Our band t-shirts come in different sizes and for both men and women. We also have music belt buckles and movie t-shirts too.
