Nostalgic 1980s T-Shirts

Back to the Future T-Shirt

Who can forget the cult-classic sci-fi film Back to the Future? Released back in 1985 (yes, it's really that old), it tells the story of a young Marty McFly whom travels back in time with his friend scientist. The duo find themselves in a messy situation, as they must tread cautiously to prevent any disturbances that could otherwise affect the future. Back to the Future went on to become one of the highest grossing films of the year, pulling in more than $389 million worldwide. It also won the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, along with an Academy Award for Best Sound Effects Editing.

If you are a fan of Back to the Future, you should check out the shirt below. Set against a charcoal-gray background, it features the iconic time-traveling car, the DeLorean, along with the film's title in pink. It's a fun, retro-inspired shirt that every 1980s kid is sure to appreciate.

Aliens 'Head' T-Shirt

Another all-too-popular film from the 1980s was Aliens. Ask most seasoned movie buffs and they'll agree: the original movies in a series are usually better than the sequels. But Aliens is a rare exception, as it built upon the original to create a truly remarkable and unforgettable sci-fi/horror film that's still relevant to this day. Starring Sigourney Weaver, Bill Paxton, and William Hope, it takes place 57 years after Ellen Ripley had been drifting through space in stasis. She and a team of "space marines" are sent to the planet LV-426 to investigate a mining colony that's out of contact. Of course, here they encounter plenty of Xenomoprhs that are eager to kill.

Just how successful was Aliens? During its initial release, the film grossed an estimated $180 million worldwide. It was nominated for numerous awards, including more than half a dozen Academy Awards. Of course, Aliens won many of these awards, such as Sound Effects Editing, Visual Effects Editing, and eight Saturn Awards, including Best Science Fiction Film and Best Actress.

If you are a fan of Aliens, show your support by wearing the shirt depicted below!

Atari T-Shirt

Okay, Atari was "technically" created in the mid 1970s, but most people who grew up during the 1980s remember it as being the video game platform of the decade. While there are video game consoles before it, the Atari laid the groundwork for modern-day video games.

Offered exclusively here at BeltsBucklesTees, the Atari shirt presented below features the company's signature logo in a multi-colored design.
